Animals Testing: Yes or Not?
Animal testing is a controversial topic. Some people think animal testing can promote the all-round application of science in medicine particularly the application. Other people think animal testing deprives all of animals’ rights, specifically including freedom and equality. However, most of people who are non-engaged stakeholders don’t care about this topic. Because animal testing are not the hot topic of common people, they don't involve in this aspect and cannot change anything. However, whether animals should get rights deserves attention.
In fact, animal testing will bring more harm than good. If even animals do not get rights of freedom and equality, imagine human how to get the same rights for themselves. Animals should get same rights with human, most basic common link of Human being and animals are that inhabit this planet. Humans get ahead of animals in the process of evolution, but they should not become squeezer to deprive of animals rights. The person who was non-engaged stakeholders should oppose animal testing.
There is a wrong idea that animal testing is not violation of animal rights. In fact, experiments on animals’ entails physical or psychological suffering violate the rights of animals. Therefore, the non-engaged stakeholders should know what kinds of behavior are violations of the rights of animals and which way can substitute the animal testing. People sign petition that is good choice. People can find the petition easily on the website. The non-engaged stakeholders can know the disadvantages of animal testing and the method of replace animal testing through these petition. According to the petition, people realize the reason certain drugs and surgical implants causing catastrophic problems is directly linked to them being tested on animals. At the same time, people also understand animal testing is barbaric, cruel and karma has caught up. To date, it have been formally validated and accepted by some countries that replaces animals in research with non-animal alternative methods. Such as, an embryonic stem cell test, using mouse-derived cells to assess potential toxicity to developing embryos, has been validated as a partial replacement for birth-defect testing in rats and rabbits. Then, the non-engaged stakeholders is able to boycott all product tested on animals, especially for women. The cosemetics are indispensable for women. However, most of cosmetics use animals for experiments. Testing cosmetics on animals is a type of animals testing used to test safely and hypoallergenic properties of products for use by humans. Because of the harm done to the animals’ subjects, animal testing is opposed by animals’ rights activists and others. There is a huge victory for animals that European Union has banned the sale of any cosmetics or cosmetics ingredients that have been tested on animals during March 2013. Unfortunately, the same things are different in American. Animal testing for cosmetics are widely available. Although human cell and skin are able to replace most of animal testing for cosmetic, such as human skin cultures can be grown and purchased for skin irritation testing. These are faster and more accurate at predicting human reactions to a product than the old animal testing. However, because of driven by a fear of lawsuits and frozen by inertia, most of American companies are continuing to blind animals in tests The best way to stop companies from using animals is to refuse to purchase their products and to write and tell them why you won’t be applying their eye shadow, cleaning your clothes with their detergent, or washing your child’s hair with their shampoo.
Not everyone who is concerned about helping product threatened tests animals has opportunity to get out in the field and do something. But even if you're unable to participate in conservation work hands-on, it doesn't mean you're without options. In such situations, the non-engaged stakeholders should support animals’ conservation organizations. Because the organizations are not for profit, they use most of money that rely on social donations. Therefore, the non-engaged stakeholders can donation money to the organizations. Every year, there are more 100 million dogs, monkeys, and other animals undergo painful procedures in research and testing laboratories around the world. The animals’ lives are spent in confinement. In European Union, PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) are successful implementation of the law, banned the sale of any cosmetics or cosmetics ingredients, have been tested on animals. The decision follows vigorous campaigning by PETA and its international affiliates that included public protests, phone calls, and more than 20,000 e-mails. How to aid of tests animals is worth pondering. For the non-engaged stakeholders, they need understand animal testing is wrong. At the same time, the non-engaged stakeholders should do everything they can do help of tests animals. They can sign petition that continues to oppose animal testing. At the same time, they can know how to preserve animal-rights. Then, the non-engaged stakeholders should stop to use any products tested on animals. Because there are not deals, there will not be hurt. In the end, the non-engaged stakeholders can donate money to animals’ conservation organization. The animals’ conservation organizations have authoritative. They can reasonable allocating resource to help tests animals. To help tests animals is a huge project. It has only all the people of one mind, animals testing will be become extinct.
